Benefits of the Entrepreneurs' SocietyBy volunteering on Society
committees, students build important skills such
as leadership, recruitment and team-building, networking
and event planning, and sales and promotion.
-
Running a business is
never boring. At the Entrepreneurs Lecture Series,
successful regional business owners share their
wisdom – and warnings.
-
Veteran business leaders
mentor students, offering support, advice, and sometimes,
project-based or full-time work.
-
Students are coached
to develop their business idea – and maybe
win money - by entering regional and national business
competitions.
-
We've taken the learning
out of the classroom and into the field. Students
build relationships with business leaders at members-only
IEE educational and networking events, field trips
to company sites and internships.
-
Collaboration fuels
economic vitality. That's why we encourage members
to develop win-win relationships, sharing programs
and ideas with students from other university entrepreneur
clubs.
As a member of the Entrepreneurial
Society, you will have a great experience that will
give you the credibility you need in the business
world.
